I'm AV and welcome to my blog. I love crafts and parties. For the past few years I have been hosting neighborhood parties. I first started to love planning parties a few years ago when I hosted a neighborhood Valentine's day party that I called the Valin'tiny party because everything was miniature.

Valentines day: green is the new pink...newspaper crane
Today I am going to teach you how to make a newspaper crane. I also found a movie on YouTube that shows you a much easier way to make the same crane.
To start out cut a square piece of newspaper and draw pink hearts on it
Then you fold the paper in half and unfold
Next you fold it in half the other direction and unfold so it makes a plus sign
Then you fold diagonally and unfold
Then you fold it the other way diagonally and unfold it will make a multiplication sign
Next you push two of the corners in so you form a mini square
Then you fold the edges on top layer in to form a kite
Next pull push the top flap down and unfold
Then pull the flap up
and repeat steps 8 and 9 on the other side
fold the edges in on both sides
repeat on the other side
open the two layers on the right side and lift flap up and close the side up
repeat on other side
fold a head and open wings
This is a diagram that shows how the paper should look.
