AV

Hi!
I'm AV and welcome to my blog. I love crafts and parties. For the past few years I have been hosting neighborhood parties. I first started to love planning parties a few years ago when I hosted a neighborhood Valentine's day party that I called the Valin'tiny party because everything was miniature.

Valentines day: green is the new pink...heart bracelet

My next posts are going to be about "green" being the new pink for Valentines Day.  I will be using recycled materials as much as I can to make cute Valentines day crafts and party favors.

This is a bracelet that I am making for my friends for Valentines day.  The little sparkly purple and blue hearts are made from the cards that earrings come on.  These are from Claire's, but any should work.

 1.  I made the hearts by cutting the cards around the hole the earrings were in, in a heart shape.

2.  Then I put the little heart on jewelry wire so the purple side was facing me.

3.  Then I put a seed bead on (the seed bead must be bigger than the earring hole), but held it in the middle of the wire.

4.  Next, I strung the jewelry wire back through the earring hole so the seed bead was holding it in place.

5.  Then I added three more seed beads with no hearts.

6.  Next, I repeated steps 2 through 5 to make a bracelet the size of a wrist.

7.  I added jewelry findings on each end of the bracelet.
